Four First Street is located in the heart of Chelsea just off Walton Street, which is packed with pretty boutique shops and first class restaurants. The house has a happy and relaxed atmosphere, with bright colours everywhere and interesting furniture from all periods.

This London bed and breakfast accommodation is private and at the top of the house, large and airy with one wall of glass that leads to a tiny balcony. Two easy chairs, television and good lighting provide ample light and comfort. The bathroom is marble and mirrored so one gets a good sense of space and luxury.

The sitting room is also available to guests and this leads onto a lovely terrace, covered with greenery, wonderful to sit out in the summer months for a refreshing glass of wine before heading out for dinner at one of the many Chelsea restaurants. A delicious continental Breakfast is served in the Baker & Spice boutique style delicatessen just across the road from 4 First Street.

About Your Hosts

The host, Shirley Eaton sets the tone as do all private house accommodation; Shirley is and has been involved with luxury B&B accommodation for the last 18 years and provides a relaxed style B&B where guests have the freedom to come and go without set times. Shirley was originally from the north of England where she ran an interior decorating business and an up-market wine bar. She is still involved with her interior decorating for a few chosen clients and also restores cottages in the country.

Out and About

Central to all London shops and London places of interest. There are many famous attractions such as the Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge.
Take a tour on an open top double-decker bus, a river cruise on The Thames or see over 55 on London’s famous landmarks in just 30 minutes on the London Eye.
As well as art galleries and museums, there are well known shops such as Harrods, many boutique cafes and restaurants, and of course the theatre performances and shows.
